The name of this restaurant makes a bold statement, and so does the food. The long list of spicy, flavorful dishes includes balti dall, cheese chulia, and the basic balti, a chunky, pungent stew made with a variety of ingredients. This popular meal is served in a small, wok-like dish, and, instead of utensils, it's served with light, fresh nan bread to mop up the sauce. No alcohol is served, but if you bring a bottle of wine, they will chill it for you. Locals say that for balti food, this is one of the least expensive but also one of the best. No reservations.
